Families can well and truly get into the Christmas spirit, when Westonbirt Arboretum lights up for the festive season – with its Enchanted Christmas illuminated trail returning in 2022.
Promising festive fun on selected evenings from Friday 25 November to Wednesday 21 December 2022, families are invited to make their way around the magical light trail as the elves scramble around to finish decorating the forest before Father Christmas arrives.
Marvel at the twinkling lights and mesmerising spectacles, watching as the playful elves create the illuminated trail around you. And, if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of Father Christmas himself!
There will be Christmas villages before and after the trail, where visitors can hop on traditional fairground rides and pick up festive snacks and drinks. With the magical event sure to be a highlight of Gloucestershire’s Christmas calendar once again.
Westonbirt is also hosting two relaxed sessions on Saturday 26 November and Saturday 3 December 2022, giving families and children with additional needs the chance to explore the winter wonderland without strong flashing lights, loud sound and smoke effects.
Advance booking is required for Enchanted Christmas via forestryengland.uk/westonbirt/enchanted-christmas, with pre-bookable timeslots to avoid overcrowding.
