Bringing around 100 UK crafters and makers to the Cotswolds this Christmas, New Brewery Arts in Cirencester is hosting Joy!: A Seasonal Celebration of Craft this October, November and December 2023.
Encompassing Christmas shopping and a swathe of festive craft workshops, visitors are encouraged to browse for unique Christmas gifts and even have a go at making their own.
With an eclectic collection of handcrafted items available to choose from right up until Christmas Eve, visitors can shop for everything from spectacular gold and silver jewellery to beautiful handmade homewares and even original works of art, with gift vouchers available for the indecisive or unsure, too.
There's a special Making Merry event on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 December 2023, with a craft fair, drop-in craft sessions and live music to enjoy as you shop; or for anyone who needs some expert help choosing the perfect gift, New Brewery Arts' CEO and curator, Beth Alden, is hosting personal shopping experiences on Museum Shop Sunday this Sunday 26 November 2023.
Ideal for keen crafters, there's a whole host of festive workshops for adults and children taking place, too, providing the ideal opportunity to have a go at making your own unique Christmas crafts, from eco-friendly wreaths; modern calligraphy baubles, crackers and gift tags; hand-painted winter landscapes; to hand-printed cards and wrapping paper.
Joy!: A Seasonal Celebration of Craft is on from Saturday 28 October until Saturday 24 December 2023 and is free to visit; while festive craft workshops at New Brewery Arts take place on selected dates between Saturday 11 November and Thursday 28 December 2023. Workshops cost from £35 to £95 depending on the craft you choose and include all the materials and tools you'll need.
