New date announced for SGGLA 2020

Get the date in your diary now, as the 2020 SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards evening is rescheduled for later in the year.

Now in its third year, the SoGlos Gloucestershire Lifestyle Awards 2020 – sponsored by Willans LLP solicitors – has been proving more popular than ever, with thousands of voters flocking to show their support for the businesses, charities and individuals who made the shortlist via soglos.com/awards.

While SGGLA 2020 was set to culminate in the anticipated awards evening at Cheltenham Ladies’ College on Thursday 28 May 2020, the SoGlos team has made the decision to push back the special event because of the Coronavirus crisis, and are excited to already have a new date fixed for later in the year.

Thursday 22 October 2020 is the anticipated new date for this year’s awards, when 400 Gloucestershire businesses representatives, sponsors and partners will come together for networking, supper, drinks and the live reveal of this year’s winners.

What’s more, all existing partners have confirmed they’ll be part of the rescheduled event, including Cheltenham Ladies’ College as venue partner, Oasis Events as event partner, Hillside Brewery and The Cotswold Distillery as drinks partners, and Baz and Fred as food partner.

SGGLA 2020 voting will remain open until the original date of Thursday 30 April 2020, and will then reopen for a second window in September 2020 – in the run-up to the newly scheduled awards evening.

‘We all need something to look forward to at this extremely difficult time, and the SGGLA 2020 awards evening in October will be the perfect opportunity for the Gloucestershire business community to come together and celebrate everything that makes our county so special,’ added SoGlos co-founder, James Fyrne.
