About the role

In this new and diverse role created to support SoGlos’s ongoing growth as Gloucestershire’s leading media brand, you will be responsible for:

• Invoicing, credit control and banking reconciliation
• Liaising with our accountant and suppliers
• Liaising with clients to provide updates and respond to queries
• Assisting with special projects – including our annual business and lifestyle awards
• Supporting the group publisher with a range of general admin support

The role can be part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate.

About you

To be considered for the position, you should have:

• Experience working in a similar role
• Unparalleled organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail
• Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel, as well as Word and Outlook
• Experience of using accounting software such as Xero or similar
• Good spelling, punctuation and grammar
• A confident telephone manner
• Experience of working in a busy office environment and on your own initiative
• A passion for the county and belief in our mission to celebrate living in, working in and visiting Gloucestershire

Salary, commission and perks

• Starting salary of £18,000 to £20,000 pro-rata, dependent on experience
• In-house training and personal performance reviews
