Please note, this event has been cancelled. Recruit your own army of friends and family and charge into the re-enactment of the Battle of Tewkesbury.

Raise your swords, Tewkesbury Medieval Festival returns on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July 2020. Perfect, if you can’t quite accept that Game of Thrones is over.

A chance for family and friends to witness the re-enactment of the Battle of Tewkesbury and experience the roaring battle cries in a parade through the town centre.

The battleground will be prepared with sufficient feasts to feed an army, there’s set to be exhibitions of the guts and glory of medieval battles and period-based games for those too young to head to war.

While details are still to be confirmed, previous Tewkesbury Medieval Festival highlights have included the official opening, medieval music and drama pieces and the retelling of traditional tales.
