The world’s most luxurious treasure hunt will return to the streets of Cheltenham, bigger, better and sparklier than ever – with £10,000 worth of diamonds up for grabs in The Beards Diamond Rush 2019.

The Beards Diamond Rush will return to Cheltenham on Sunday 14 July 2019 for the most exciting instalment of real-life treasure hunting yet – including a special twist in 2019.

Organised by Cheltenham’s oldest and largest jewellers, Beards, nine diamonds worth £1,000 each will be hidden across the town and further afield, with a tenth diamond up for grabs through an online treasure hunt, exclusively with SoGlos.

The Beards Diamond Rush has been expanded further out into Gloucestershire for 2019, and the dazzling diamonds worth £10,000 have been donated by the historic Cheltenham-based jeweller to raise funds jointly for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Successful treasure hunters will also able to take advantage of a bespoke design service at Beards, and have their stone crafted into a beautiful piece of unique jewellery.

To take part in the hunt for the nine physical diamonds, treasure maps will be available to purchase at £10 each from Friday 14 June 2019. These will direct people to a general vicinity where they will be able to start searching on Sunday 14 July 2019.

‘Clue Makers’ dressed in charity-branded T-shirts will also be stationed at strategic points across Cheltenham and Gloucestershire on the day, offering additional clues to hunters for a £5 donation.

To take part in the SoGlos-exclusive online treasure hunt to win the tenth diamond, visit soglos.com/BeardsDiamondRush between 10am on Monday 8 July 2019 to midnight on Sunday 14 July 2019 for the exact details of how to take part.
