Visitors are invited to an open evening at Gloucestershire Engineering Training's headquarters in Gloucester this February 2023.

Individuals interested in engineering are invited to take a guided tour of Gloucestershire Engineering Training this February 2023.

The highly respected specialist centre on Corinium Avenue develops the current and next generation of staff for some of county’s very best companies.

As well as being shown around the facilities and having them explained, visitors also have the chance to chat to staff members and current apprentices and see demonstrations of the kind of work it helps companies excel in.

GET was founded in 1977 by a partnership of county businesses. It provides apprenticeship training for the county’s best and most innovative engineering firms and continues to support apprenticeships as a route to work and career development. It's also one of the partners of this year's SoGlos Gloucestershire Apprenticeship Campaign, which is helping showcase the training route across the county.

The open evening takes place on Tuesday 7 February 2023 and is free of charge. Anyone wishing to attend can book a place via eventbrite.co.uk.

Anyone with access or specific requirements is asked to get in touch before the event by emailing events@get-trained.org.
