Running alongside Cheltenham Literature Festival this October 2022, art enthusiasts can look forward to an inspiring group exhibition presented by art consultant and curator Louisa Warfield.

Taking place at Cheltenham's Spring Gallery from Wednesday 5 to Sunday 16 October 2022, the art pop-up 'Literature' exhibition celebrates Cheltenham Literature Festival's history and showcases 14 artists works and the books which influenced them.

With storytelling in mind, the artists demonstrate a personal relationship with their chosen text, in beautiful ways.

Visitors can expect a varied exhibition, where each art piece, inspired by written word, contributes to a new narrative.

What's more, on Wednesday 5 October 2022, guests can attend the private preview where they will be able to view the work early and enjoy a drink.

Since 1949, Cheltenham Literature Festival has attracted writers, artists and literary lovers, growing to be one of the most-loved events in the calendar.

Every year, hundreds of pop-up shows and events descend on the town to celebrate creative writing in its wide variety of forms.

Art consultant Louisa Warfield's debut Cheltenham exhibition is a celebration of the festivals' history, as well as its impact on Gloucestershire's thriving art scene.
