Celebrate Polish Heritage Day with a special celebration at Kings Square in Gloucester, with live music from Ewelina Flinta, traditional food and family entertainment.

Kings Square comes alive with music and entertainment as Gloucester celebrates Polish Heritage Day on Saturday 13 May 2023.

The special event brings people together to celebrate Polish traditions and culture, with food stalls, dancing and live music to enjoy, as well as a chance to get to know the local Polish community.

Pop singer Ewelina Flinta is playing her biggest hits live, while a band in traditional folk costumes will also be playing Polish party tunes throughout the afternoon to get everyone up and dancing.

There's authentic Polish food to tuck into, including smoked kielbasa sausage; fluffy pierogi dumplings; zapiekanki open-faced sandwiches; and bigos, a traditional Polish stew, as well as Polish arts and crafts stalls to browse and traditional dance demonstrations, too.

Visitors can also explore the Laguna’s Spitfire Legacy exhibition, which commemorates the contributions of Polish pilots during the Battle of Britain.

Organised by the Polish Association Gloucester, Polish Heritage Day takes place at Kings Square from 12pm to 4pm and is free to attend.
