A major new live entertainment destination is launching just over the county border this summer, giving Gloucestershire audiences even more opportunities to enjoy headline music, comedy and live events without travelling far from home.
Opening at The Courtyard in Hereford throughout August 2026, The Amp is a brand-new 1,400-seat big top venue designed to bring larger-scale productions and nationally renowned performers to the region.

This summer, music fans at The Courtyard Hereford's new venue, The Amp, can look forward to performances from acclaimed artists including Jools Holland, James Morrison, Alfie Boe, ABC, Elkie Brooks and The Shires; The Bootleg Beatles bring one of the world's best-known tribute shows to Hereford and Ibiza in Symphony closes the summer season.
Audiences can also enjoy an evening with former football manager Harry Redknapp, along with broadcaster, adventurer and bestselling author Simon Reeve, adding even more variety to the programme.
