With three days of live music from the most exciting up-and-coming talent, Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup brings festival vibes to The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham this July 2023.

Bringing festival vibes to the heart of Cheltenham, The Brewery Quarter hosts Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup for the sixth time this July 2023.

Taking place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 July 2023, the free event gives visitors a taster of what's to come at the popular music festival at Eastnor Castle in August 2023.

The three-day event features live music from the most exciting new artists, as well as local favourites and children's entertainment, with The Brewery Quarter's plethora of bars and restaurants serving up cocktails, craft beers, ciders and tasty food to tuck into.

Kicking things off on Friday is Kate Loveridge providing some soulful sounds, followed by Summer Jam regulars The Mark Walby Band headlining.

Saturday is the grand finale of Amped! which sees finalists from Bristol, Liverpool and London take to the stage to compete for a slot at Lakefest and a £5,000 prize — with Bar Staff Band, Gentlemen of Few, Jordan Hemingway, Kisskie Band, Laurie Wright, Leon Oleary, Morning Tourist, The Chase, Two Pounds Down and Walls Band making it to the final out of 543 hopefuls.

Then on Sunday, up-and-coming singer-songwriter Crispin makes his Summer Jam debut, performing alongside Cheltenham Rock Choir; local singer-songwriter duo Saint Senara; blues outfit Chimp on a Bike; acoustic covers band The Brethryn; Lakefest favourite DJ Shippers; and the ever popular Camilla Lewington, who closes out the festival with singalong party hits.

There's free family entertainment taking place across the weekend too, with appearances from Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday; ventriloquist and magician Colin Dymond and his puppet friends performing between music sets on Saturday and Sunday between 1pm and 5.30pm; and the chance to meet Little Dreamers princesses between 1pm and 3pm on Sunday.

Plus revellers can get festival ready with a Glitterbomb glitter station on Saturday between 1pm and 5pm and enjoy an array of street food and cocktails from the outdoors bars in the music area all weekend long, as well as food and drinks from The Brewery Quarter's fantastic range of restaurants and bars.

Summer Jam: The Lakefest Warmup is free to attend and tickets to Lakefest will be on sale at the event, for anyone who hasn't snapped theirs up yet.

Guests wanting to dine at one of The Brewery Quarter's restaurants during the weekend are encouraged to book in advance, as it's bound to be busy!
