Inspired by the 90s movie, the international and award-winning hit musical, The Bodyguard, is on its way to Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre for a string of performances that fuse together romance, danger and thrill.
Coming to Cheltenham from Monday 23 to Saturday 28 February 2026, the production features Sidonie Smith, previously seen in Sister Act, Chicago and Jesus Christ Superstar, as Rachel Marron; Olivier award-nominated Adam Garcia, as Frank Farmer; and Coronation Street and Hollyoaks star, Matt Milburn, as Sy Spector.
Gloucestershire theatregoers can watch the romantic thriller unravel when Frank Farmer, former secret service agent turned bodyguard, is hired to protect superstar Rachel Marron from an anonymous stalker.
Throughout the production, audiences can hear a collection of Whitney Houston's musical classics including 'Queen of the Night', 'One Moment in Time', 'Run to You', 'I Have Nothing', 'Greatest Love Of All', 'Million Dollar Bill', 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' and the iconic, 'I Will Always Love You'.
