Wychwood Festival celebrates its 20th year this May 2026 and it's bigger than ever, with the event opening on Thursday for the first time.

Wychwood Festival is back for its 20th year in 2026 – and it's opening the gates a whole day early this year. 

When and where is Wychwood Festival 2026?

Wychwood Festival takes over Cheltenham Racecourse from Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 May 2026.

Who's on the lineup at Wychwood Festival 2026?

The 2026 lineup is stacked, with the Dutty Moonshine Big Band kicking off the festival as Thursday night headliners.

Kaiser Chiefs headline the main stage on Saturday, with Levellers closing the party on Sunday – and Henning Wehn headlining the comedy line up.

Also on the music lineup are Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Feeder, Pigeon Detectives, Boney M, The Twang, Newton Faulkner, Chesney Hawkes, Elles Bailey and Dub Pistols – as well as local bands including Nuns of the Tundra, Thrill Collins and The X & Y.

There are plenty of family-friendly activities across the weekend, too, including Barrioke, Hip Hop Karaoke and Primary School Bangers.

How much are tickets to Wychwood Festival 2026?

Weekend tickets cost from £149.50 with camping or from £144.50 without camping, while day tickets cost from £59.50 each.

Thursday tickets are sold separately and cost £30 each.

Tickets are on general sale from Tuesday 10 February 2026.
