Families with children aged three to 11 years old are invited to learn more about the academic curriculum, specialist facilities and inspiring and supportive teachers at The Richard Pate School and Nursery in Cheltenham at its open mornings this autumn.
On Friday 3 and Saturday 4 October 2025, from 10am to 12.30pm, visitors to the idyllic 11-acre, semi-rural campus in Leckhampton will have the opportunity to chat to current pupils and teaching staff at the independent school (both during the school day and at the weekend), gain a valuable insight into life at Richard Pate and discover how it can offer the best start to your child's education.
With two open mornings to choose from for the first time this year – and one during a regular school day to give an authentic insight into the school in action – families will also be able to look around the school's specialist facilities, which include a dedicated nursery school, a science laboratory, art studio, spacious music centre, a beautiful woodland area and a floodlit AstroTurf for sports.
The school celebrates each individual child's strengths and attributes, while working closely with parents and carers to help them choose the right onward destination for their child after Year 6, guiding them towards a positive future.
A large percentage of pupils also progress to achieve places and scholarships at leading grammar and independent schools throughout Gloucestershire.
The Richard Pate School prides itself on delivering a well-rounded education for both boys and girls, ensuring they can thrive within a happy and supportive environment, as well as encouraging a love of learning, a wide breadth of opportunity and a strong sense of community and fun.
The open mornings are free to attend but families are asked to register their attendance in advance.
To register your place, call The Richard Pate School on 01242 522086 or email office@richardpate.co.uk.
