With its glorious gardens bursting into bloom and lots of fun family activities planned, including a special visit from the Tudors, Easter is a fantastic time to spend a day at Sudeley Castle.
What's on at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe this Easter 2026?
From Saturday 28 March until Sunday 12 April 2026, little historians can take part in the hunt for the Queen's Hare at Sudeley Castle, following a trail of golden eggs dotted around the castle's colourful gardens to find the elusive hare and receive a sweet treat as a reward.
And the Tudors are in town across the Easter weekend, too. Elizabeth and her travelling court pay a visit to Sudeley Castle for a special Easter show, where the infamous bakers of Winchcombe are on trial for making illegal hot cross buns. Will they receive a Royal Pardon, or will their baking skills be banished forever? Their fate will be decided by the audience.
