This year's Moreton Show featured attractions including a birds of prey display, animal competitions, rural craft demonstrations, and an array of tasty food and drink.

Organisers of the popular Moreton Show have praised everyone who attended for making this year's event so 'enjoyable and memorable' – with a date already locked in for next year.

Following another successful show which had everything from racing Shetland ponies and motorbike stunts, to traditional rural skills and vintage vehicle displays, the Moreton Show Society has now confirmed the 77-year-old event will be back at the Moreton-in-Marsh Showground on Saturday 4 September 2027.

Long a staple of the Cotswolds events calendar, thousands flocked to the annual celebration of British agriculture and countryside traditions this year.

The showground was packed with things to see and do for people of all ages, including shopping for local produce and handmade gifts, the chance for little ones to meet friendly farm animals, and plenty of fun activities for older children, including a climbing wall.

While entertainment highlights included the ever-popular Shetland Pony Grand National, thrilling stunts performed by Dangerous Steve, and the historic Grand Livestock Parade.

Steve Parkes, chairman of the Moreton Show Society, said: 'Moreton Show 2026 was a roaring success.

'It was fantastic to welcome so many visitors, particularly the younger families and children, who came along to enjoy everything Moreton Show has to offer.

'As a society, we are passionate about organising a show that brings the countryside to life, giving visitors the opportunity to experience, learn about and celebrate the very best of British farming, food and rural life.

'We were incredibly fortunate with the weather, which helped make it such an enjoyable and memorable day for everyone.

'A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make Moreton Show 2026 such a success.

'We look forward to welcoming you all back again next year on Saturday 4 September 2027.'
