Get the festive season started when Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter officially switches on its Christmas lights on Saturday 20 November 2021.
Promising an evening packed full of music and Christmas magic, the event starts at 4pm with entertainment from a whole host of talented local performers.
There’ll be live music courtesy of 50 children from My Stage School singing a hit from West End musical Matilda; African drumming from the Silver Sambistas and Ola Samba; and local boy band, The Hornets, will be playing for the crowds too.
Thomas Trilby’s interactive show brings circus skills, comedy and family fun to the event; Danceworks Studios crew will be throwing some shapes with a dance performance; and little ones will have the chance to meet their favourite Star Wars heroes with Gloucestershire Troopers and princesses from Little Dreamers Events too.
Characters from this year’s Everyman Theatre panto, Jack and the Beanstalk will be on stage giving a sneak peek at what to expect from the spectacular show.
There’ll even be an extra special guest, as Father Christmas pays a visit to The Brewery Quarter to switch on the lights at 6.30pm.
Wrap up warm and arrive early to enjoy all the festive fun – and please wear a face mask if you are able to.
