Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the iconic event, Visit Cayman Islands Cheltenham Cricket Festival 2022 promises a fortnight of first class cricket this summer – with Cheltenham College hosting sporting fans from across Gloucestershire and beyond, from Tuesday 19 July to Tuesday 2 August 2022.
Gloucestershire County Cricket Club has been playing in Cheltenham for 150 years this summer, and during the last century the festival has gone from strength-to-strength – now dubbed one of the most successful cricket festivals in the world, attracting thousands of spectators year-on-year.
The 2022 cricket festival in Cheltenham will be the second consecutive season that Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) has been the main sponsor.
This summer’s anticipated Cheltenham Cricket Festival is set to deliver another year of exciting entertainment, with the chance to see two LV= Insurance County Championship matches; the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy; a National County match; and the Royal London Cup.

Gloucestershire will be playing against Hampshire in this four-day LV= Insurance County Championship match, from 11am daily.
Western Storm vs South East Stars at Cheltenham Cricket Festival

This one-day Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy match will see Western Storm play against South East Stars, from 11am.
Gloucestershire vs Northants at Cheltenham Cricket Festival
Monday 25 to Thursday 28 July 2022
There will be a four-day LV= Insurance County Championship match between Gloucestershire and Northants, taking place from 11am daily.
Wiltshire vs Gloucestershire at Cheltenham Cricket Festival

Gloucestershire will be playing in the one-day National County match against Wiltshire, from 11am.
