With beer gardens reopening from Monday 12 April 2021 and the rule of six meaning we can finally enjoy a sociable drink with family and friends, we’ll be heading to one of Gloucestershire’s gorgeous beer gardens – whatever the weather!

From modest beginnings in a repurposed horse box, The Outdoor Inn Cheltenham has grown into a popular and unique venue, bringing a festival feel, great beers and live music to the town centre – with The Outdoor Inn Gloucester launching soon too.
The new Outdoor Inn Gloucester at The Fleece is due to open in May 2021 and is set to be one of the city’s most exciting new venues with big plans for the space. Bookings for The Outdoor Inn Cheltenham are open now for when it reopens on Monday 12 April 2021.

Famous for its pods in the autumn, there will be summer cubes to enjoy an undercover drink in style. The Outdoor Inn Cheltenham reopens on Monday 12 April 2021.
Bringing its festival vibe to one of Gloucester’s most iconic buildings, The Outdoor Inn is opening at The Fleece this May 2021. With ambitious plans to transform the formerly derelict building’s grounds into a beer garden – including a bar in a London bus and shipping container stage!

Known simply as ‘the beer garden’ by many locals, the Imperial Garden Bar is one of Cheltenham’s most popular places to head when the sun starts to shine – for sunbathing, Pimm’s-drinking and people watching. It reopens on Monday 12 April 2021.

The Red Hart Inn is a family-owned pub in Longhope on the edge of the Forest of Dean, featuring traditional décor, locally sourced food, a large beer garden and children’s play area, with barbecues on Saturday nights throughout summer. It reopens on Monday 12 April 2021.

The Royal Hop Pole in Tewkesbury is an impressive union of historic buildings from the 15th and 18th centuries, with a riverside garden for visitors to soak up the sunshine over a pint or good value meal. It’s due to reopen on Monday 12 April 2021.
