1. Light up Cheltenham

Cheltenham will be lit up once again this February when Light Up Cheltenham transforms the town’s buildings from Saturday 1 to Sunday 23 February 2020. This year, the giant observation wheel returns to Imperial Gardens, offering visitors incredible views over the lit-up town.


2. Rock ‘n’ Roll Record Hop at Smokey Joe’s in Cheltenham

Doo wop over to Smokey Joe’s in Cheltenham, an American-style diner, and get your shimmy on to 50s and 60s tunes, all played on vinyl. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Record Hop will be free to enter and a delicious selection of food and drink will be up for grabs too – a great night out to celebrate the start of the weekend.

Grab yourself a bargain at Cheltenham Vintage Kilo Sale on Saturday 15 February 2020 at Cheltenham Ladies’ College. With over six tonnes of retro clothing on offer, vintage-lovers will be able to pick up a whole kilo of new clothes for just £15.


7. Soul and Motown Dinner and Dance at Stonehouse Court Hotel

Get your funk on to the best Soul and Motown tunes this February, when Stonehouse Court Hotel puts on a groovy Soul and Motown Dinner and Dance. With a DJ playing until late, you can rock out to the best tunes all evening.


8. Cheltenham Vegan Fair

Try a new vegan treat at Cheltenham Vegan Fair, coming to Park Campus in Cheltenham on Saturday 22 February 2020. With plenty of stalls selling meat and dairy-free food, cruelty-free products and a whole programme of talks on veganism, it’s a great way to celebrate the up-and-coming lifestyle.


9. Opera Anywhere: Hansel and Gretel at Bacon Theatre

Follow Hansel and Gretel at Bacon Theatre into the deep dark woods as they encounter a whole host of surprises as they search for food. This operatic performance by Opera Anywhere will mesmerise audiences with its spell-binding interpretation.


10. Take That Tribute night at Hatherley Manor

Take That fans – this one’s for you. Hatherley Manor is hosting a tribute night, performing all the greatest Take That hits on Friday 28 February 2020. Enjoy a delicious dinner with prosecco before hitting the dancefloor to sing along to all the best tunes.
