It's almost time to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night in Gloucestershire once again, so we've rounded up 13 of the best firework displays and crackling bonfires to enjoy under the stars this October and November 2025.
With plenty of events happening across Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, the Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Stroud and Tewkesbury this autumn, there's never been a better excuse to bundle the family up, head outdoors and prepare to 'oooh' and 'aaah' at the spectacular displays planned.
Fireworks at Cheltenham Racecourse
Known for being one of the best family fireworks shows in town, Cheltenham Racecourse teams up with Cheltenham Round Table once again to host an evening jam-packed with
entertainment on Saturday 8 November 2025.
The one-night-only event combines the epic thrills of the cinema and a dazzling display of fireworks, with each crash and bang being set to soundtracks from classic movie favourites – plus there's a funfair for families and plenty of hot food and drinks to keep you fuelled all evening long.

Fireworks at Cattle Country Farm Park near Berkeley
Sure to have crowds 'ooh-ing' and 'ahh-ing', Cattle Country Farm Park's annual firework event is back for two nights of Bonfire Night entertainment on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November 2025, with tickets priced at £15.46 for both adults and children.
Excellent for families, this event has plenty of activities to get involved in, without the late-night finish – with tickets allowing access to the indoor play barns throughout the afternoon, as well as the chance to take part in s'mores toasting and plenty of hot takeaway food and drink available from the pop-up bar before the bonfire is ignited at 5pm and the fireworks start at 6pm.
Fireworks at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe
For those wanting to celebrate spooky season and tick off Bonfire Night, the historic grounds of Sudeley Castle beckon visitors for a night of Phantoms and Fireworks on Friday 31 October 2025.
The haunted adventure begins as gates open from 6.30pm, with a Ghoul Skool Disco kicking off the night in true spooky style, then there's the opportunity to get your final trick or treating session in – as well as a slice of pizza – before the fireworks light up the night sky at 8pm. Tickets start at £12.50 per child aged three to 15, with adults costing £17.50 and kids under three going free.
Fireworks at Croft Farm Water Park in Tewkesbury
Experience a fireworks display across water at Croft Farm Water Park in Tewkesbury, as its Bonfire Night celebration returns for 2025, taking place on Friday 7 November from 6pm.
This special display offers a unique perspective with the glittering shine of the fireworks reflecting off the surface of the lake in the centre of the park, with live music to enjoy throughout and all ticket proceeds going towards the Air Ambulance charity – entry is priced at £20 per car until Friday 31 October and £5 per person on foot with under-fives going free.
Fireworks at Miserden near Stroud
Helping to raise money for Miserden Primary School, the fireworks at the historic Miserden Gardens return to impress from 4.30pm on Saturday 8 November 2025.
Spectators can enjoy an evening of glittering fireworks; snuggle up at the bonfire with a selection of food and a mulled wine, beer or cider, before dancing the night away at the glow in the dark disco! Tickets bought in advance cost £10 per adult, £5 for under 16s and £25 per family of four.
Fireworks at Dunkertons Park in Cheltenham
Promising a family-friendly evening of fantastic food and drink, music and a 12-minute, 'low-noise' fireworks display, head to Dunkertons Park on Monday 3 November 2025 for its spectacular rocket show.
Prepare for an atmospheric night full of bonfire magic, but with a cool edge thanks to mood lighting, vibrant music from a live band and DJ and, of course, plenty of cider. Plus, all the food outlets at the park will be open to serve and keep guests fed throughout the evening. Adult tickets cost £15 per person with under-threes going free.
Fireworks at The Speech House Hotel in the Forest of Dean
Returning for another year, the Forest of Dean Lions Club is inviting families across Gloucestershire to its charity bonfire and fireworks night at The Speech House Hotel on Saturday 1 November 2025.
With the evening sure to go off with a bang, attendees can expect to see a sparkling fireworks display produced by Firemagic; entertainment from Danter's Fun Fair; as well as the chance to tuck in to burgers, hot dogs, drinks, doughnuts and sweets. Costing £10 per ticket – with kids under-11 going free – all profits go towards benefiting the local people and projects in need.
Fireworks at Marling School Playing Field in Stroud
Entertaining people across the county for more than half a century, the Five Valleys fireworks event returns to Marling School Playing Field on Monday 27 October 2025, for a thrilling evening of fireworks designed by former British Firework Champion of Champions, Star Fireworks, alongside a fun fair, Punch and Judy show and refreshments.
All ticket proceeds will be donated to a number of charities, with the total funds raised over the years approaching an impressive £250,000. Pre-booked adult tickets cost £10 per person, with primary school-aged children entering for £5 each, until Friday 24 October 2025.
Fireworks at Gloucester Academy School
Get ready to witness The Plotters Revenge this November, as Apex Fireworks puts on its 'most explosive night of the year' at Gloucester Academy School.
Kicking off at 5pm on Saturday 1 November 2025, expect a huge, fully choreographed musical fireworks display that really puts the fire in Bonfire Night. Promising to be 'bigger, louder and bolder' than last year's Gunpowder Plot performance, grab tickets in advance with a 10 per cent discount from £8.51 per child aged four to 16 to £12.41 per adult.
Fireworks at the Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh
Hosted by Moreton-in-Marsh's Fire Service College, celebrate Bonfire Night while supporting two important charities at its fireworks event on Thursday 6 November 2025.
Costing just £2 per person, with all proceeds going to The Fire Fighters Charity and the Cotswold Food Bank, families can enjoy an evening of fantastic food from local food stands; a range of drinks stands, including a Hawkstone trailer; a bonfire from 7pm; fireworks from 7.30pm; and fairground rides all evening. Please note that there is only disabled parking available on-site.
Fireworks at Fairford Cricket Club
Organised by the Fairford School PTA, there's a spectacular firework show taking to the sky at Fairford Cricket Club on Saturday 8 November 2025.
From 4pm, alongside a display by the renowned Chase Lane Fireworks, visitors can also expect hot food from a barbecue, drink stalls serving festive favourites including mulled wine and hot chocolate, as well as a licenced bar and fairground rides to keep all ages entertained. Tickets cost £10 per adult and £6 per child aged four to 17.
Fireworks at Cotswold Gliding Club at Aston Down Airfield in Stroud
On Saturday 25 October 2025, immerse yourself in the wonder of fireworks night with the return of Cotswold Gliding Clubs' fireworks and bonfire night. Promising a night of awe-inspiring entertainment, the event features a helicopter pyrotechnic air display performance!
There's also food, drink and snacks vendors; fun fair rides and activities; a gliding simulator; free STEM workshops; and Halloween pumpkin carving, with gates opening at 2.30pm. Car tickets start from £37 for up to five people and pumpkin carving is a surplus charge of £4.
Fireworks at Longlevens RFC near Gloucester
Join Longlevens Rugby for its 'even bigger' annual fireworks event – and this time there's not just one but two to enjoy!
On Sunday 2 November 2025, the first display at 5.30pm promises no big bangs but plenty of colourful crackles, while the second is much bigger and louder from 7pm. There's also live entertainment and music from 4.30pm and advance tickets cost £6 per child, £9 per adult and £25 per family of four.
