Furry friends are always allowed in the bar, garden and library, with the hotel's garden rooms charged at £15 extra per night for dogs with a comfy bed and water bowl — and its staff don't go anywhere without a handful of treats on them at all times. The hotel welcomes one medium-sized dog or two small dogs aged over six months old, per garden room and guests are even provided with printed guides to some of Ralph's favourite nearby walks.

Owlpen Manor in Uley

As a dog-friendly venue, Owlpen Manor welcomes well behaved dogs into all of its cottages, with its Woodwells cottage the most popular for families with dogs. Because of the hotel's stunning 215-acre plot, your four-legged friends will love the amazing walks directly on the doorstep of each cottage. It’s also safe to explore, as the site is located far from busy roads.

Tewkesbury Park Hotel
