The Prince Albert will delight gig goers this summer when The Boxcar Boys puts on an unmissable live performance as part of its anticipated UK tour, promising an evening of unique, original music in Stroud.

Taking place at the popular pub on Wednesday 13 June 2018, The Boxcar Boys will showcase its innovative sound that weaves together its take on folk songs, klezmer, and traditional jazz.

Having been described by New Canadian Music as ‘a high-energy and musically accomplished roots ensemble’, The Boxcar Boys started as a busking band on the streets of Toronto and has since achieved great success, delivering exuberant performances at jazz and folk festivals in Canada and the USA, and recording three widely-acclaimed albums.

With its first UK tour offering the chance to see The Boxcar Boys on home turf in Gloucestershire, music fans won’t want to miss the chance to hear the band that’s been hailed as ‘fantastic players, with fantastic presence’ by Northern Lights Festival Boréal.
