Promising a great evening's entertainment within the stunning setting of Gloucester Cathedral, folk singer-songwriter Johnny Coppin and his band will perform Johnny’s beautiful settings of the Gloucestershire war poets.

Best-loved local singer-songwriter Johnny Coppin will be joined by his band for an unmissable performance at Gloucester Cathedral this autumn, Of Severn and of Somme.

Taking place within the iconic setting on Friday 9 November 2018, the event will see Johnny and his band perform Johnny’s beautiful settings of the Gloucestershire war poets, from F. W. Harvey through to Ivor Gurney.

What’s more providing even more musical entertainment, the Cheltenham Youth Choir will perform a host of songs that Johnny has set for them.

With musical director Rachel Bowen, Of Severn and of Somme is set to be a highlight on Gloucester Cathedral’s events calendar this autumn.
