With the UK’s growing cyber industry attracting record investment and Cheltenham being hailed as the burgeoning ‘cyber capital of the UK’, we’re delighted to unveil the launch of SoGlos’s new #CyberGlos campaign – championing Gloucestershire’s key role in cyber and the future of this diverse and exciting sector in the county.

#CyberGlos will centre around its own dedicated section, soglos.com/cyberglos, where from June to November 2021, SoGlos journalists will be showcasing cyber stories from across Gloucestershire.

From innovative start-ups tackling cyber challenges head-on to the wealth of cyber training and cyber employment opportunities available in the county, as well as breaking the latest cyber news stories in Gloucestershire – including those on The Golden Valley Development in Cheltenham, home to Cyber Central, the UK’s focal point of activity in cyber security.

#CyberGlos is proudly supported by Salus Cyber (saluscyber.com), Charles Russell Speechlys (charlesrussellspeechlys.com) and the University of Gloucestershire (glos.ac.uk), three innovative organisations at the forefront of the UK’s booming cyber sector.

‘As a digital-focused media brand, cyber is at the heart of everything we do at SoGlos, but it’s also something which affects almost all businesses and individuals in some way,’ commented SoGlos co-founder, James Fyrne.

‘Our new #CyberGlos campaign will not only showcase Gloucestershire’s integral part in the UK’s cyber sector through a six-month campaign, it will also help us all gain a better understanding of the sector, it’s exciting opportunities and challenges,’ James added.
