Gloucestershire luxury hotel and golf resort, Tewkesbury Park has a new hotel manager, after promoting Samantha Birch to the prestigious position this August 2023.

Birch has worked for the hotel for 11 years and has experience in all facets of business and operational management, having played an integral part in the hotel's reinvention since the McIntosh family bought the property in 2014.

For the past five years, Birch has been the sales team manager at the hotel, which has given her a unique understanding of the hotel's dynamics and impressive insights into guest's preferences, with her transition into the manager role set to be seamless.

Tewkesbury Park's general manager, Patrick Jones, said: 'Samantha’s promotion to hotel manager is a reflection of her dedication, leadership and immense contribution to our continued success.

'Having witnessed her significant role in the hotel’s journey over the years, we are confident that Samantha’s vision, coupled with her exceptional operational insights, will further enhance the guest experience.'

Birch added: 'I’m thrilled to take on this new role as hotel manager at Tewkesbury Park. The appointment also reaffirms Tewkesbury Park's commitment to nurturing talent and providing staff with opportunities to progress within the business, too.
