Cirencester’s Barn Theatre is hosting the live-streamed world premiere of A Russian Doll this June 2021.

After beginning its run on Tuesday 18 May 2021, the one-woman play written by Cat Goscovitch and co-produced by the Barn Theatre and Arcola Theatre, will be broadcast live from Cirencester to a global audience on Saturday 12 June 2021 at 7.30pm.

The live stream will capture the show’s final performance at the Barn Theatre before it transfers to Arcola Outside in London later this year.

Starring West End actress Rachel Redford, the play is based on a true story and follows lead character Masha – a member of Russia’s disinformation campaign during the EU referendum.

The politically-charged play has been described as ‘a chilling glimpse into our post-truth world’ by The i Paper with writing that is ‘fantastically energetic, filled with eloquence and fire’ by The Guardian.

Tickets for the live stream cost £13.50 each.
