Three favourites return for Everyman's must-see pantomime in 2025

Families can see Tweedy the Clown, Kevin Brewis and Kane Verrall at this year's festive pantomime.

Much to the delight of county children, not to mention the grown-ups, Tweedy the Clown is among those returning to Everyman Theatre for its anticipated 2025 pantomime, Robin Hood and His Merry Men.

With the Everyman's panto proving hugely popular with audiences of all ages year after year, Robin Hood and His Merry Men promises another spectacular seasonal show, set to delight families from Friday 28 November to Sunday 11 January 2026.

Watch as Robin Hood and his faithful band of outlaws, Little John, Will Scarlet and Friar ‘Tweedy’ Tuck outwit the dastardly sheriff of Gloucestershire with a sprinkle of pantomime magic, a dash of comedy and a big dose of audience participation.

Also returning is Everyman favourite Kevin Brewis, donning outrageous frocks and channelling Dame Nursie. No stranger to Cheltenham’s stage, he's starred as the dame in four previous pantomimes, including Aladdin in 2024, Dick Whittington in 2022 and Jack and the Beanstalk back in 2021.

And completing the trio is Kane Verrall, who audiences may recognise as the Spirit of the Unicorn in Jack and the Beanstalk. This year, Kane will take on the role of Will Scarlett, one of Robin Hood’s most loyal companions — bringing bags of charisma and energy to the Merry Men.

Tweedy said: 'Despite not being able to sing, dance or remember my lines, as well as consistently breaking props, adlibbing and causing mayhem, the Everyman is letting me come back for Christmas!

'Of course, there are a few twists to the classic story of Robin Hood, including a couple that the audience might not be expecting...'

Tickets for Robin Hood and His Merry Men are now on sale and are expected to be snapped up quickly; so grab your bow and arrow and prepare to make magical memories with the entire family.
