A brand new boutique farm shop is opening in the Cotswolds this year, providing the ‘very best produce and delicious tasting, hand-crafted food.’

Chris Davey, the man behind bespoke food distribution service The Cotswold Guy whose customers include Cotswolds residents David and Victoria Beckham, Zara and Mike Tindall, Liv Tyler and David Gardner, is transforming The Old Bakery in the main square of Guiting Power into a boutique farm shop.

The building is currently undergoing refurbishment which is due to finish at the end of March 2021, with Chelsea-based interior design company Kitesgrove carrying out the shop’s fit before it is due to open in late May or early June 2021.

The Old Bakery will feature a commercial kitchen for food production, a trattoria-style deli and a barista coffee bar serving cakes and pastries.

The store will source the best local and British fresh produce and artisanal products including dairy; bread and croissants; fish, meat and game. The trattoria-style deli will also be serving takeaway coffee, cake and desserts, as well as The Cotswold Guy oven-ready meals and meal kits.

The Cotswold Guy’s new boutique farm shop in Guiting Power is due to open in May or June 2021.
