With its new pizza oven now in situ, The Old Prison in Northleach has launched a range of ‘prison pizzas’ with names like The Executioner – just in time for Halloween 2022.

The café is run by the Relish Group, which started life as an event catering company in the 90s and has since branched out into restaurants, cafés and bars across the Cotswolds.

As one of its more unusual locations, visitors can still enter some of the cells and explore what used to be the exercise yard, as well as tuck into an expanded menu, featuring doughlicious sounding pizzas.

Among them is The Executioner, topped with pepperoni, spicy sriracha sauce and jalapeño peppers, and the equally evocative Solitary Salami, made with salami, sun-blushed tomatoes, oregano and rocket.

Alongside a vegan meatball option, you’ll also find a brunch pizza, allowing you to enjoy all your breakfast favourites – including sausage, egg and bacon – on a pizza!
