A Gloucestershire pub has been awarded two highly sought-after AA Rosettes this June 2021.

The Bathurst Arms, located in North Cerney, has been awarded two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence, as well as receiving a four-star overall rating by the industry body.

This is the second major award the venue has received after it was the first and only UK pub to be awarded five stars for Organic Served Here by the Soil Association Certification.

The AA Rosettes and star ratings are awarded to ‘outstanding restaurants that achieve standards that demand national recognition well beyond their local area’ and are decided by independent inspectors – with only 10 per cent of restaurants nationwide receiving the accolade.

Owner, Jordan Pelly, only took over the pink pub in July 2020 and said: ‘The reception and feedback from our customers has been great and this has helped us win these awards.

‘We are going in the right direction so a big thanks to my team, in the kitchen and front of house as well as the village of North Cerney, who have been fantastic as well as Punch Pubs & Co who have also been supportive throughout.’
