PJ’s Kitchen is a new family-friendly food venture which launched in Cheltenham in January 2021, with children at the forefront.

With future plans for a ‘scran van’ food truck and kids’ birthday party catering, PJ’s Kitchen food offering currently includes pancakes, which costs from £7.50 a portion and macaroni cheese which starts from £8 a portion – both with a variety of toppings and including a drink and pudding, which customers can order and collect from Cheltenham.

The new independent business was created during the first national lockdown by Roseann, known as Zanny, and Kingsley Thompson, while they were juggling working full-time, as well as looking after their two-year-old PJ.

It all started after Zanny and PJ began filming bake-alongs on social media when they realised that food brings people together — even kids — and so decided to start their own business, making food for kids and their special occasions.

Zanny said: ‘PJ and I have such a lot of fun together when it comes to food, and we just want to share that with other kids and their families (and when the world allows…their friends too).’
