The 'UK's number one food reviewer' Matt Binge from Food Review Club says he loves Cheltenham.

In town to promote Cheltenham Food + Drink Week, Matt Binge — 'the UK's number one food reviewer' and the creator of the Food Review Club — has declared his love for the Regency town.

In a series of stories shared with his 142,000 Instagram, 629,000 TikTok and 744,000 Facebook followers, Binge described Cheltenham as 'regal, sexy, beautiful, historical' with 'some great food spots', saying 'it's got a bit of everything'.

He did a whistle stop tour of the town centre with his team, taking in restaurants including The Beefy Boys, KIBOU, The Chip Shed, Slice Bros and SISU Pancakes to get a taste of what the town's independent venues have to offer.

Tucking into everything from freshly-battered fish and chips and New York-style pizza slices to piled high pancake cakes, Filipino restaurant Pyesta stood out as a particular favourite, with the crew declaring that the food was 'sensational' and some of the best they've ever had.

Binge will be releasing videos of all the venues the Food Review Club team visited to tie in with Cheltenham Food + Drink Week, which is organised by Cheltenham BID and Visit Cheltenham and takes place from Monday 18 to Sunday 24 September 2023.
