Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital has an exciting new partnership with The Padel Club launching this June 2026.

The leading private hospital is now the official sponsor of Court 2 at The Padel Club Cheltenham, cementing its commitment to supporting sport and athlete wellbeing in Gloucestershire.

Padel players in Cheltenham can scan a QR code at the court to find out more about Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital's expertise in sports medicine and musculoskeletal health, for everyone from active individuals to elite athletes.

Offering tailored care from a team of highly qualified consultants, its comprehensive range of treatments includes sports injury assessment and diagnostics; joint and ligament injury treatment; knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle treatment; strength and conditioning support; physiotherapy and rehabilitation; and specialist orthopaedic treatment, so players can get rapid access to specialist care and get back in the game as quickly as possible.

Nuffield is also one of Gloucestershire's only private hospitals to offer pioneering robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery, too.

As one of the UK's fastest-growing sports, with over 400,000 players since May 2025, padel's popularity continues to increase – and Nuffield's partnership with The Padel Club takes its expertise out of the hospital and onto the court.

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital's director of operations, Jamie Powell, said: 'We are thrilled to be supporting Cheltenham Padel Club and can offer all their members the same access to our rapid diagnostic and specialist orthopaedic services.

'You don’t need to have medical insurance to come to Nuffield Cheltenham, and you can now spread any costs over 24 months, with zero per cent interest.'
