De Vere Cotswold Water Park, in South Cerney, has revealed the results of a major £900,000 refurbishment.

All 25 of its deluxe rooms have received a new interior fitout, to make the most of the lakeside setting.

Light panelling in the rooms is accompanied by new beds, carpets and artwork inspired by the hotel’s natural surroundings.

Each room has seen an upgrade to its bathroom, which includes new rainfall showers.

And the Brasserie Restaurant has received more than £250,000 of the investment, which includes a complete redecoration throughout with new furniture and artwork.

Surrounded by 152 lakes, the new design incorporates outdoor inspiration with muted green and blue tones, with plenty of plants and floor-to-ceiling windows, boasting far reaching views of the lake.

The hotel’s communal spaces, including seating areas and corridors, as well as small meeting rooms, have also seen a refresh with new carpets to keep in line with the rest of the hotel.

The lastest revamp follows last year’s top-to-toe refurbishment of the hotel’s event spaces.

General manager at De Vere Cotswold Water Park, Dan Kelly, said: 'We’re delighted with the results of our latest phase of refurbishment works. The hotel’s deluxe bedrooms and the Brasserie Restaurant have been redesigned to ensure the spaces make the most of the hotel’s stunning lake views.

'We’re looking forward to welcoming guests, old and new, to experience the refurbishment for themselves.'
