Race Night at Cheltenham Racecourse

Friday 1 May 2020

Editor's Choice

The last event in Cheltenham Racecourse's annual calendar, Race Night promises to be a fantastic finale at Prestbury Park in May 2020.

Racing fans will be heading to Cheltenham Racecourse for the last date in Prestbury Park’s calendar on Friday 1 May 2020, when Race Night gets underway.

Formerly known as the Hunter Chase Evening, the anticipated event is the only evening fixture at Cheltenham Racecourse, entertaining spectators with several fiercely fought chases along the tracks.

Promising to be a great way to end the campaign at Cheltenham, amateur jockeys are given a chance to shine on the racecourse, while off the track the popular meeting provides an excuse to soak up the social atmosphere – and hopefully the warm evening weather.

What’s more, there’ll be a brilliant after party in The Centaur after the sporting action to celebrate the end of the racing season; with previous names including BBC Radio 1’s Greg James and Scott Mills, and BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley, the 2020 event is set to deliver another sensational showcase.

One last chance to catch horseracing action in Gloucestershire until the new season starts in October, head to Cheltenham Racecourse for a spring evening of action this May and you won’t be disappointed.
