Cheltenham’s annual Open-Air Theatre Festival is back, returning to Bacon Theatre’s Tuckwell Amphitheatre for another summer of alfresco drama, musical performances, cinema under the stars and family fun this August 2021.

Celebrating summer in style, the Tuckwell Amphitheatre at Cheltenham’s Bacon Theatre is welcoming audiences back for its annual Open-Air Theatre Festival – with a must-see programme of gripping drama, feel-good films and family shows this August 2021.

With events taking place from Tuesday 3 to Sunday 15 August 2021, there’s something for everyone – including classic plays, theatre for youngsters, live jazz evenings and cinema nights under the stars.

It’s also the first time since the Coronavirus pandemic hit that audiences will be able to enjoy performances at the Greek-style amphitheatre, marking the Bacon Theatre’s long-awaited reopening after 16 months of closure.
