Bredon School

Located just outside of Tewkesbury, Bredon School is an independent co-educational school, which offers day and boarding for students aged seven to 18.

Bredon School is a mainstream independent day and boarding school, offering dyslexic teaching for children aged eight to 18-years-old.

Giving all students the chance to explore their passions through its extensive academic, professional and vocational curriculum, Bredon cultivates an enthusiasm for learning and helps its pupils to realise their full academic potential — whether they're best suited to traditional subjects like English and science or want to undertake vocational qualifications in agriculture, childcare or hospitality.

There's a diverse range of co-curricular clubs and activities to get involved in too, from sports and coding to animal care and art clubs.

The school is situated in 84 acres of Gloucestershire countryside and makes the most of its rural setting by taking teaching out of the classroom, with regular sessions on its fully-operational working farm, within the forest school and out on the sports field.

From clay pigeon shooting to climbing, students can also take part in outdoor pursuits, or become a member of the school's very own Combined Cadet Force.

Bredon School offers a supportive and caring environment, with small class sizes and outstanding pastoral staff. All lessons are taught in a specialised dyslexic format by qualified staff, using various multi-sensory techniques and supported by assistive technology.
