Families and their four-legged friends will be flocking to Cirencester Park this summer to enjoy shopping, country pursuits, tasty treats, and much more at the Cotswold Show and Food Festival 2019.

Whether you’re a foodie, music fan or animal lover, this summer’s Cotswold Show and Food Festival offers something for everyone when it returns to Cirencester Park from Saturday 13 to Sunday 14 July 2019.

From friendly animals, falconry displays and shopping, to country pursuits, food and hundreds of trade stands, the two-day showcase draws in thousands of visitors year after year, with 2019 set to be no exception.

Entertainment at The Cotswold Show 2019


A first for 2019, visitors can see the incredible Atkinson Action Horses in a thrilling stunt show. Audiences won’t believe their eyes when The Arena Challenge provides spectacular family entertainment when ponies and carriages make their way around an obstacle course.

For animal lovers, there’s the fantastic Dog & Duck Show with one of the UK’s leading sheepdog displays. Taking flying birds of prey to a whole new level, the captivating Free Spirits Horse and Falcon Display will see dancing horses and falcons zooming across the sky in an impressive performance.

The Southern Golden Retriever Display Team will be at the show for the first time. Visitors can see a brilliant example of training as the dogs take on an obstacle course and even some dancing.

Returning for 2019, the terrier and lurcher races will be a thrilling watch. The annual dog show will be taking place on both the Saturday and the Sunday and the Sheep Show will feature nine different breeds for all to enjoy.

Food at The Cotswold Show 2019


Over 50 producers will be bringing tantalising treats to The Food Festival, with visitors able to tuck into everything from tea and cakes to charcuterie and street food.

The food festival will also feature the Cookery Theatre, with some of the county’s best chefs demonstrating some delicious dishes to try at home. Demonstrations will feature chefs from The Wychwood Inn, The Miller of Mansfield and The Lygon Arms. Plus, there’s also cocktails from The Cotswolds Distillery.

Brand new for 2019, gin-lovers can head to the Gin Marquee for a tipple or two.

Country pursuits at The Cotswold Show 2019


Celebrating all things involved in country life, there will be a whole host of country pursuits for visitors to get stuck in with.

From clay shooting to have-a-go archery, show visitors can pick up tips from expert instructors and learn a new sport. Archery will be available for all ages to try and a selection of vintage tractors and machinery will be available to check out.

Family fun at The Cotswold Show 2019


From inflatables and bungee trampolines, The Cotswold Show is brimming with brilliant ways to keep the kids busy.
Children can take their pick from Go Carts, scaling the height of the 25-foot climbing wall, tree climbing as well as dodgems and even a flying simulator.


Music at The Cotswold Show 2019


Make the most of great day out by kicking back and enjoying some great live music across the weekend. The Occasionally Big Band will bring an eclectic mix of music from Adele to Elvis, each performed with their own little twist.

A brand-new Performing Arts Marquee will showcase the amazing skills of some of the Cotswolds’ performers including Stagecoach Cirencester, Cirencester Creative Dance Academy, The Barn Academy, Cotswolds Gymnastics and more.
