4 pumpkin patches in Gloucestershire

Pick-your-own pumpkins at one of these prime Gloucestershire patches, perfect for carving spooky Halloween decorations or filling a tasty autumnal pie.

Halloween is fast approaching – cue the spooky sounds! But, it wouldn’t be All Hallows’ Eve without trying your hand at carving a pumpkin or two.

SoGlos has uncovered four places to pick your own pumpkin and enjoy an autumnal day out in Gloucestershire, this October 2021.

1. Pumpkin patch at Cotswold Farm Park

Back for another year, the pumpkin patch at Cotswold Farm Park in Guiting Power is open every weekend in October 2021 and throughout Halloween half term.

Perfect as part of a jam-packed day out, a trip to the pumpkin patch is included in normal Farm Park admission – with a free pumpkin token too. Plus, pumpkin-only tickets also available to book online.

2. Pumpkin patch at Cattle Country Adventure Park

Open for a second year, the pumpkin patch at Cattle Country Adventure Park in Berkeley is back for Halloween 2021. With slots available every weekend in October and every day during half term.

Find yourself a wheelbarrow and get to picking – with entry included in the admission price and pumpkins starting at £2 depending on their size. Plus, don’t forget to stop by the photobooth to capture a picture of your day or enjoy some marshmallow toasting and pumpkin decorating.

3. Pumpkin patch at Over Farm

Autumnal fun for all the family, tickets cost £2-£4 per person for pumpkin picking at Over Farm in Gloucester, with pumpkins costing between £2 and £10.

Pumpkin picking is just part of the Halloween fun at Over Farm, with the return of the Spookyard fit for all the family and Frightmare perfect for brave grown-ups!

4. Pumpkin patch at Primrose Vale

Visitors to Primrose Vale in Cheltenham can get picking their pumpkins from Friday 22 to Sunday 31 October 2021 – but, unlike previous years, make sure you book in advance.

With a ticket costing £2 that can be exchanged for a token and redeemed against the price of your pumpkin, come prepared with wellies and gloves to pick your perfect pumpkin.
