Promising a delightful display of artworks, the Penwith Members Exhibition runs at Chapel Arts in Cheltenham this spring.
Open on Wednesdays to Saturdays, local art lovers can visit Chapel Arts to see the Spring Members Exhibition between Wednesday 16 May and Saturday 9 June 2018, following its showing at the Penwith Gallery.
Founded in 1949 by a host of artists in St Ives, The Penwith Society presents a full programme of exhibitions by its members and associates; its association with so many progressive and influential artists gives the society a unique place in British art history.
The society’s exhibition in Cheltenham offers the chance to enjoy an eclectic mix of works from talented artists. Visitors can expect to see works by artists including Anthony Frost, Carol Hoskin-Smith, Jenny Beavan, John Piper, Lar Cann, Michael Sheppard, Michael Praed, and more talented names.
