Return to battle for 2025 as Tewkesbury Medieval Festival prepares for another year of historic re-enactment.

Re-live local history when the annual Tewkesbury Medieval Festival makes its anticipated return on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July 2025.

Hear canons firing and swords clashing on the original site of the 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury at what has become the largest free medieval fayre and re-enactment in Europe.

Attracting history lovers from around the world, the festival not only provides a professional re-enactment of the famous War of the Roses battle, but also living history displays, a beer tent, food and drink stalls and a medieval market selling everything from crafts to armour.

There's traditional medieval-inspired entertainment from jugglers, musicians and jesters, with activities for children, too.
