Gloucester’s cathedral school, The King’s School Gloucester, is inviting prospective families to its Whole School Open Morning this Friday 10 March 2023.

Welcoming children aged three to 18-years-old, the prestigious independent school is known for its forward-thinking attitude, inspirational environment and nurturing pastoral care.

Benefitting from a special relationship with Gloucester Cathedral, being located right next door to the spectacular building, the school welcomes pupils of all faiths and of none to its inclusive community.

As well as exceptional academic performance, King’s pupils enjoy high levels of individual support due to its small class sizes, as well as a range of fulfilling co-curricular activities including dance, drama, music and sport.

The school won #SGGLA Independent School of the Year in 2020 and 2021 and achieved the highest possible result in its latest ISI Inspection Report in September 2022.

For families considering applying, the Whole School Open Morning provides a unique opportunity to see the school at work, meet teachers and pupils, as well as take a tour of the facilities – including the school’s impressive Sixth Form Centre.

Parents will also have the opportunity to speak to the admissions and bursary teams, who will be on hand to answer questions and provide helpful information on the applications process.
