Jump racing fans who enjoy a more relaxed pace than the high-octane action of The Festival™ are sure to relish The April Meeting, promising two days of highly competitive action on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 April 2022.
The April Meeting may attract smaller crowds than its Gold Cup counterpart, but the sport itself still raises the pulse and offers a wonderful opportunity to get even closer to the races.
Better still, under 18s go free, which is ideal as The April Meeting falls in the Gloucestershire Easter holidays.
Among the family-friendly (and complimentary) entertainment on offer will be a horseshoe bouncy castle, derby hoppers and rosette making.
Jazz musicians The Hipcats will also be welcoming racegoers by performing at the entrances, just as they do at The Festival™.
As well as the Grade 2 Handicap Chase on the opening day and some top-class hurdle races, spectators can enjoy one of the final chances to see their racing favourites before the end of the jump season.
