Cineworld Cheltenham reveals expansion completion date

Cineworld Cheltenham has announced a completion date for its huge refurbishments of the cinema.

After months of extensive renovations, Cineworld Cheltenham will be reopen on Friday 6 September 2019, with bookings for its new 4DX service now available online.

Scheduled to have all works finished by Friday 30 August 2019, the all-new Cineworld Cheltenham will feature a new 4DX screen, VIP screening rooms, as well as high-tech motion seats which will be synchronised with the action on the screen.

Film fans can also expect new features as part of the 4DX experience, including wind, fog and scents to enhance the movie.

Only the fourth UK cinema to offer VIP Screens, Cineworld Cheltenham will also offer a premium experience in the VIP screening rooms with an exclusive private lounge, complimentary dining with unlimited cinema snacks, as well as reclining leather seats to enjoy the films from.

Speaking about the renovations, general manager of Cineworld Cheltenham, Rich Barnes, said: ‘Not only are we going to have an amazing revamped cinema, but we are excited to introduce movie fans in Cheltenham to 4DX and VIP.’
