Tewkesbury's The Roses Theatre announced its first-ever outdoor summer festival is taking place this year – and now it's looking for a corporate partner to sponsor the inaugural event.
The Roses' Garden Festival is set to bring relaxed festival vibes to Victoria Gardens in Tewkesbury from Thursday 30 July until Sunday 2 August 2026.
The lineup includes family-friendly outdoor theatre, workshops and hands-on activities from Gloucester-based Rain or Shine, Cheltenham-based Jenny Wren Productions, Cotswolds company The Last Baguette, and Paperback Theatre from Birmingham, as well as acoustic live music from local artists, plus an outdoor bar and street food.
The four-day festival offers an accessible price point, with day tickets costing £20 for adults, £15 for 16 to 25-year-olds and £5 for children aged three to 15 – as well as a flexible approach where ticketholders can come on and off the festival site freely, with no restrictions on re-entry.
Providing a wonderful way to support and connect with the local community, The Roses Theatre is seeking a sponsor for the event.
Sponsors can benefit from an immersive brand engagement opportunity, with a dedicated area on the festival site to showcase their business and meet potential customers, as well as receiving branding on marketing materials promoting the festival.
The Roses Theatre doesn't receive any core funding from either Arts Council England or from local government, instead relying on ticket sales and donations from charitable organisations and corporate partners.
In spite of this, the theatre provides a variety of year-round community initiatives which help prevent loneliness, provide access to the arts for neurodivergent and disabled people, and give young people the opportunity to take part in its popular youth theatre programme, Roses Young Creatives, as well as producing its own pantomime each Christmas – and, for the first time in 2026, its summer festival.
By sponsoring this feelgood family event, businesses can put their CSR budget to good use, cementing their support for the theatre and the valuable work it does for the community in Tewkesbury.
