Everyman Theatre is welcoming audiences back with IK Productions’ comedic adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz – with new socially distanced performances scheduled for Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2020.

Promising big laughs for the whole family, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy and Toto on a hilarious misadventure down the yellow brick road, encountering munchkins, witches and much more along the way.

It will be the historic venue’s first presentation since theatres were closed in mid-March, now indoor public performances are allowed to take place.

With comprehensive social distancing measures in place, audiences will be given designated arrival times and entrances, as well as pre-entry temperature screenings. Seating will be distanced and the theatre will be operating a pre-ordered food and drinks service, too.

The venue has also been equipped with hand sanitising stations, track and trace monitoring and enhanced cleaning procedures – meaning audiences can sit back, relax and enjoy the performance in a safe and comfortable environment.
