Tetbury tough guys (and girls!) assemble at the annual Woolsack Races once again on Monday 27 May 2019, in a long-standing traditional display of strength beyond your wildest imagination.
Spectators will witness competitors hoist heavy sacks over their shoulders and trudge up and down the steep Gumstool Hill, along a challenging 240-yard course.
The event is sure to attract the usual huge crowds, which gather in their thousands to watch the race. Whilst offering their encouragement from the side-lines, visitors can also enjoy a lively array of entertainment, including live music, local stalls and amusement rides.
As always, this family-friendly day out is all for a good cause, and will push even the toughest and fittest of racers to their limits.
