Dog Swim at Sandford Parks Lido

Saturday 12 to Sunday 13 October 2019

Man's best friend can cool off after the summer when Sandford Parks Lido's hugely popular Dog Swim returns for another year.

Four-legged friends will be going barking mad at Sandford Parks Lido this autumn, when Cheltenham’s outdoor swimming pool hosts its highly anticipated Dog Swim on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October 2019.

While some dogs are naturals in the water, other dogs may need a little help, therefore, owners are allowed to get into the pool too, with the water temperature set to be below 21 degrees celsius on the day.

Taking place at the end of Sandford Park Lido’s season and following all human swimming sessions, this year’s Dog Swim will again be a pre-purchased ticketed event, with doggy owners able to register online for a specific time slot.
