The 'world’s very first drive-in Christmas show' is coming to Cheltenham Racecourse, with two Car Park Panto performances planned for December 2020.

Car Park Panto is coming to Cheltenham Racecourse on Monday 21 December 2020 – with two performances of a special festive production, Horrible Christmas.

Created in collaboration with the Birmingham Stage Company and Horrible Histories, it is described as ‘the world’s first drive-in Christmas show’ with performances scheduled at outdoor venues across the UK.

Celebrating the festive season, there will be two performances in Cheltenham following one boy as he embarks on a journey through history to save Christmas – encountering everyone from King Henry VIII to Charles Dickens along the way.

With Cheltenham the audience watching from their cars, the drive-in show promises to get everyone in the festive spirit in a safe and socially distanced way, delivering plenty of laughs and Christmas cheer for Gloucestershire families of all ages.
